Bloody eyelash extensions

Ah, the price of vanity.

Had my eyelash extensions done yesterday.

It was pure torture.

You remember when you have one of those eye blisters on your eyelids? Well, think of it as a thousand blisters on your eyelids. Or a thousand daggers plunged into your eyelids. Both of them. That was how I felt the whole of yesterday.

Can't even wash my face properly, cuz the fake eyelashes, unlike the real eyelashes, dripped water into my eyes instead of shielding it from.

Sigh.

I woke up with a bloody red eye.

Couldn't take it anymore, and with the help of very good oil make-up remover, I plucked all of them out. Remember the dagger analogy? Well, plucking them out was like drawing those daggers out of your eyes, one by one.

It's the first day of 2008, and life is painful already.

Goodbye, 120 bucks of pure misery.

Happy new year people

Happy new year people!

I'm going to write about how my new year eve celebrations were in another post, but right now I just wanted to complain/moan/sulk about one thing: I'M GOING TO HAVE A BAD YEAR AHEAD. I can feel it. The elements are against me!

Omens

1) Some shorty cut the line right in front of me in the bathroom of Butter Factory. No one, I repeat, no one, has ever cut my line and gotten away with it. :(

2) Couldn't get a cab, and had to walk from Clarke Quay to City Hall to hail one.

3) The people that I wish would msg me didn't. Sigh.

4) My eyelash extensions that I got today hurt like crap. As a result, my right eye is swollen and red. :( I had to pluck off some of them cuz it hurt so bad.

5) Rude fat people getting on my nerves. Yes, I'm referring to you, stupid fatty server who deliberately cleared our table and chairs when we sat down for a rest.

There was a recent report that there's a higher occurrence of depression during festive seasons. You're telling me!

Alright, going to bed to sulk some more. Bye people. :(

The past few days...

Hmm, I have a bunch of pictures at hand, so I'm just gonna narrate as I go along.

This year's Xmas decorations in Orchard is prettier. I don't remember what it was exactly like last year, but I remember I wasn't too impressed. I've always liked white and blue lights, so this year does the trick for me!

Spent my xmas eve at Leana and Nick's. The pictures came out blurry, so I'm just gonna put a couple. It's been sorta a ritual going over to their place. Been going there for the last three years. It's a good kinda ritual tho, the food is always great and the company excellent. :)
Hongkong Cafe

Went with my family for supper two days ago. Ended up going to the Hongkong Cafe at East Coast. I was skeptical at first since the one at Kovan sucked, but it was surprisingly good!

I had the Borsch soup, which is pretty much just minestrone soup. It was pretty good, since it was a tad thicker than most minestrone soup. A good starter, if you're a fan of tomatoes.

Had the minced beef baked spaghetti too. I assure you that it's wonderfully covered with cheesy goodness, but again I had forgotten to snap a picture before I tuck in. Heh. It was sooooo goood tho, surprisingly enough. The sauce was a tad salty, but if you like the salts, go for this! It's very flavorful, and even have small chopped bits of carrots (good for those who hate vegetables, like my sister).

I also had the ee-fu noodles with abalone sauce. I completely forgot to take a picture of it. Hehe. It's very well cooked, and not oily at all! For pple who appreciate a milder, more delicate taste. :D

Ghim Moh Market

Went to visit my lab mates too at Biopolis. It's always nice to meet up with them, since they're the nicest bunch of people. Despite it being almost 2 years, we always have endless stuff to talk about, to gossip over. It's really sweet. I hope this lasts for years to come. :)

Seized the chance to go back to Ghim Moh Market to eat. I love the ipoh hor fun there. The shrimps are always fresh, and the hor fun is so tender. The sauce isn't too oily too, and the set meal is my ultimate favorite, going only for a mere price of 4.5 bucks.
(again, I forgot to take the picture before I started eating. Hehe.)

Had the roast duck leg and char siew rice there as well. There's always a line for this stall as well, and it's situated right next to the hor fun stall. The skin was crisp, with considerable less fat than most duck stalls. The meat was tender, and the char siew was really good. A little burnt, and the flavor was very good.

The Graze (Rochester Park)

Went for dinner with Ivan at the Graze. I've never been there, so was looking forward to it, since apparently there were rave reviews on it. I was feeling quite full when I got there, so I ordered the entree size of the mushroom risotto (16 bucks). It was surprisingly good though. The sauce was very flavorful, with an ooze of cheese at the side, and the risotto was just a little hard (which according to my Italian friends, is the right way to cook it). It was plenty for me, since the sauce was a little heavy.

We shared the pork belly as a starter. I was never a big fan of pork bellies, but Ivan seemed to like it quite a bit.

The grilled salmon there was pretty okay. It wasn't overcooked, and came with the standard soy sauce/wasabi sauce.

All in all, the food was alright. Be prepared to spend around 50 bucks per person though.
Two happily full people.

We went to the one rochester for wine after, and the prices were pretty reasonable, so be sure to consider that as an option for after dinner activities!

Island Creamery

Went to try the island creamery, since all my friends were raving about it. Apparently, they don't use gelatin nor eggs in their ice-cream, and they make it on the premises. My friend Terence had 32 scoops of free ice-cream to claim, so what better time to try it! Four of us shared 6 scoops of ice cream, and I have to say: I'm in love. With the horlicks ice-cream. Tastes better than horlicks. Heh.

Flavors from left to right, back to front: Banana, Kahlua Latte, Nutella, HORLICKS, choc, mixed berries.
Even Terence has to admit that it's good. Ha.

Da Paolo Pizza Bar (Holland V)

Went to meet Leana and a few other friends for dinner at this pizza bar. I was again, very full from lunch and ordered only the goat cheese salad (with sundried tomatoes, and rockets) (16 bucks). It was pretty good, if you're a big fan of goat cheese! The pizza was only average, in my opinion. The service was pretty good though, considering that we were a big bunch of boisterous loud people.

Toldya. :P
The goat cheese salad.

Went to Wala wala after dinner, and the live band was pretty good. If only the a/c was a weeee bit colder. Heh. Challenged Mike to a drinking contest of sorts, which was a very bad mistake.

We are a bunch of cam whores.

The live band playing.

On a sidenote, I had the famous qiu lian ban mian this afternoon, and it was pretty good. For people wanting to find it, it's at Hougang Mall now. The soup is sooooo good, and it gets better when it's colder. :P

I'm sure your fingers are prolly sore from scrolling down so much. Prolly shudda warned you that it was a long entry. Heh.

I got my camera! :D

I finally got my camera. It's a black lumix, and I love it to death.

More cam-whoring moments to come, and if you're a frequent female clubber, you'll know where this was taken.

Yep, it's the female toilet of MOS. Was there last night, met a few interesting characters. Overall, I actually had fun. It's been a while since I've had fun during clubbing.

All thanks to Sylvia. :)

Went to Flutes of the Fort on Fort Canning Hill to have lunch with moots. He said he picked that place cuz it's one of the places that have valet parking. -__- The food we had was really good tho, so watch out for the review coming soon! :) The old lecherous valet parking guy said I look like a doll. Incidentally, one of our friends said the same thing at MOS. I guess they meant it as a compliment?

P.S: Lost my concealer AGAIN. I think this year, I've already lost 4 or 5 pots of it. If someone picks it up when I lose it every time, she should have enough concealer to last her a good two years. Blah.

Anyways, will write more later!

The marathon food blog

*Warning: This is going to be a very, very long blog (so long that I have to number the different parts) *

1) Sushi place at Narita Airport

I've always stayed near the gate when I'm transiting, and just order the corn soup from the cafe near it, but this time, Wenqi took me a looong way to this sushi place. The sushi was really expensive. They charged around 6 USD for a single piece of uni. So in the end, I ended up spending around 40 USD, and even then, I wasn't full at all. Ha.

Ikura - really good, not saltish, so you know that it's fresh.
Uni - Uni was pretty good, around the same standard as Kikuya in San D, but very stingy in portions.
Kani - MANNNN, this crab is to die for. It's served raw, but it's so soft and tender, with an explosion of taste in your mouth. Definitely going back for more.
Hotate - Pretty small, not spectacular.
Amaebi - It was small too, but not too bad. Sorry it's not in the picture, but if you squint, you'll see the remnants of it (the tail parts). I always have this bad habit of diving into food before taking pics. Heh.
Toro - The toro was REAALLY goood. Very fresh, very fatty, just the way I like it. :D

We got free edamame too, cuz the shady ass American next to us was trying to hit on us. It was pretty good.

2) Chin Chin Chicken Rice (Purvis St)

OH MY FUCKNG GAWD. If I can quantify chicken rice in terms of orgasms, this one is a clincher for me. The rice is so unbelievably tasty that you don't even have to put a lot of chili to make it taste good. The chicken (we got half a chicken, and this was after we had dinner), was really tender and not dry at all (maybe a little dry at the breast parts). Sooooo good.

The stir-fried potato leaves are good as well, just the right amount of spiciness. This place is definitely an A+ for me! :D

David was commenting at how much of a messy eater I am, and he's probably right. I have my whole plate crammed with bones, but hey now, whatever gets me to chomp down the good stuff at a faster rate!

3) Tian Jing Palace (Bras Brasah Complex)

The only two things I am gonna praise about this place is
1) the minced meat noodles. Even though the portion is meagre, it is seriously the best minced meat noodles (zha jiang mian) I've ever had. They had very tender spinach on top of the cucumber shreds, and the meat sauce is all kinds of flavor.

2) the red bean pancake. The pancake is pan fried to perfection, and is crisp and tender at the same time. The red bean complements the sticky pancake to perfection.

4) Shin Kushiya

I am in LOVE with the foie gras skewers at this place. Though it's 8.80 a pop, it's totally worth it. Besides, if you order a foie gras entree anywhere, it's going to set you back around 40 SGD. I would rather have 4 or 5 of these things. Like the movie- Gone in 60 seconds! :D

5) Chicken rice stall at Bugis food court

This place sucks. This was a set going for 6 bucks, and the chicken slices are pathetic. They look like a lot, but they are sliced so thinly that if I stack them up, it'll be the whole of one bite. The chef should spend more time perfecting his tasteless rice then spend the time cutting the chicken into tiny slices. -__- Anyways, enough is said. I don't think I'll be of any effect badmouthing this place anyway, since there isn't much business for them in the first place.

6) Teochew Porridge near Zouk

I don't really know where the exact location of this place is, other than that it is along havelock road, but if you make the first right after passing grand copthorne (on your left), and keep straight, it'll be on your left side. Or you can tell the taxi uncle to go to the famous teochew porridge near zouk. The fishcake is HEAVENLY. I'm not kidding. All those who know me know that I hate fishcake, but this fishcake is just too good to resist! It is soooo soft that not much chewing is required, and it's a burst of flavor in your mouth! The salted vegetables are oddly sweet, and well the minced meat is fatty but good. My regular supper spot. :D

7) Pasta de Waraku

I had to try this place out just because it's like the latest rave. In short, it's just a Japanese pasta place. I had the salmon roe and sea urchin pasta in the wafu cream sauce. The sauce was good, and not too heavy, but the sea urchin tastes like crap. Like if you're eating sea urchin the first time, you're going to be scarred for life if you eat this.

Mark and I shared the soupy seafood pasta too. It's kinda like pasta in a soup -like tomato sauce, so you can pretty much slurp the whole thing. The shrimps aren't that fresh, and the squid was kinda hard, but the sauce was good, and it was pretty impressive how they manage to come up with a soup that's salty enough to be a sauce, but not too salty that you can't drink it on your own. Overall, the service was good (they keep refilling your glass), and the food was slightly above average. Nothing very special.
Mark looking doubtfully at our soup pasta. Did I mention I love my cousin? :D

8) Flutes at the fort (Fort Canning Hill)

This was one of the better meals I've had in Singapore. Moots brought me there due to rave reviews and I have to say, it was really good. The ambience was pretty nice, that of a colonial house, with white tablecloths, artistic pieces hanging on the walls, you get the drift.

I had to get the pan fried foie gras ($25). It came with rosella flower, warm blinis and passionfruit jus. It was one of the best foie gras I had ever, coming close to the one at Fleurs de Sol in NYC. It was seared to perfection, and the whole concoction just melts in your mouth.

For my entree, I got the black cod fish ($37), with a teriyaki-inspired sorta sauce. It was cooked well, such that it is still tender and not dry in the least bit. I prefer it over the seared venison that moots got, just in terms of flavor.

For dessert, I got the banana and vanilla creme brulee ($14). It was pretty bad. The tope sugar layer was too thick, and wasn't burnt entirely, leaving a white coat of sugar on top of the custard still. It was hard getting through the sugar, but the maple walnut ice cream accompanying it was pretty good.

Moots got the banana crunch cake, which came with a toffee chocolate sauce. I thought it was better, since it was served warm, and I've always been a sucker for toffee. Ha.

In short, a pleasant experience. Might go back soon. :)

Bitch theory.

I'm seriously depressed that I can't upload my pictures. :( I think I am going to write the logs, save them, and publish when I get back, just so I can write it down to begin with.

Another day in Singapore. I didn't really do anything out of the ordinary these few days. Everyday is about the same - I get up around noon, get ready to head out for lunch/movie/dinner/drinks, and the whole cycle repeats itself. Not that I'm complaining, like I said, this is a pretty sweet vacation.

I have so many random thoughts in my head, like how I like to be in Singapore cuz I get to buy tissue from the old people along Orchard Road and feel better about myself. Or just walking around town to see all the funny fashion statements around. Today, I almost got a picture of this lady with a Cucci/Goach bag. It's one of those cheap imitations that has a G instead of a C as part of the bag motifs. I didn't end up getting a picture cuz she was walking too fast. Speaking of which, Singaporeans always seem to walk faster/get shorter everytime I visit. It's a very odd trend.

I went to Pasta de Waraku for dinner today with my cousin. He's leaving first thing in the morning, and I'm kinda sad. :( I will blog about the place and him in another entry when I can get hold of the pictures, but yea, I wonder how he will change the next time I get back, and he's in army. Army can change a person drastically, and you don't have to go through it to realize that fact. I just hope that it's for the better.

My friend and I were lamenting about guys a while ago. Not about any guy in particular, just their attitude towards us over the years. I used to look really dorky in secondary school, and she was the same way too, but we used to have so many guys hitting on us at random spots, like fast food joints etc. They would send representatives to talk to us, or throw notes in my bag etc.

I don't know what changed from when I was 16 till present age, and she doesn't know either. We know, for a fact, that we have gotten better looking. Everyone says so, and really, it's kinda impossible to look worse than how I looked back then. But the thing is, with that, it seems like less guys hit on us in Singapore. In the states, I don't really have a standard to compare to, but well guys still come up to us regularly. It took us a while to come up with a theory, but when we did, we dubbed it the "Bitch" theory. The theory goes as such: With better looks, we have somewhat morphed into bitches. We give off the fuck you (no, not really, but you know what I mean) vibe, we get amused (in a bad way) when some loser-ish guy tries to chat us up, and the list goes on. It was unintentional, I swear, but it's probably true.

I remember that I used to be the nicest thing when guys hit on me. Yes, I did give out wrong numbers, but I was always nice about it. I've definitely gotten more jaded, and nastier over the years. I don't cut people any slack anymore. It's really harsh, but I've gotten so used to it, I don't think it's possible for me to change back. :(

I was telling this to my cousin, and he pretty much agreed that I give off a fuck-off vibe / I'm a bitch vibe. Sigh. It's so harsh when family tell you that.

My friend and I had tried to remind each other constantly, when we're out partying, to be nicer to people. It hasn't worked yet, just because we cracked each other up when we're being saccharine to strangers all of a sudden, and start beaming like idiots around the club.

So I guess this is one case where the nice people finish last.

On a sidenote, I went over to Nick & Leana's place for a scrumptious Christmas dinner. I have to say, Nick does the turducken like no one else. :D Went to Oosh again after the countdown, and we derived a lot of fun trying to pester the servers for free water. :) Good times.

Blah.

I realized I had forgotten to bring the computer cable for my phone, which is a pretty stupid move considering that I wanted to take loads of pictures and blog on it. Can't even upload my pictures. :( So I have two options:

1) Write logs on my computer, and post all of them, complete with pictures, all at once when I get back

2) Get a camera, and continue to blog

And, I've decided to go with option 2. :D So I'm gonna get a cam next week, and start blogging again cuz there's some stuff I wanted to blog about.

Anyways, the trip so far, it's been really good. Went to Oosh at dempsey with leana and the crew on Friday, and it was pretty chill. We got the VIP table which was huge. The only thing was that they initially refused to serve us water, unless we order a bottle of wine or something, which was pretty blah. All in all tho, the spa-inspired bar was pretty sweet. Might go back again, but this time, I'm gonna bring a huge bottle of mineral water. Ha.

I've been spending a lot of time with my sister and my cousin, who's heading back to Melbourne after Xmas. That boy, he's only 17 and is already a heartbreaker. Stayed over at my place last night cuz we went out for suppa, and he was showing me various girls on facebook that he had relations to. What sorta relations, I'm not entirely sure, but well, I'm pretty proud of him still. Never hurts to have attractive relatives. Heh heh. Will post the picture up when I get back to San D.

Gonna brave the crowds and go Xmas shopping tomorrow in town. Not looking forward to it at all. Maybe I can spray on some odor that will deter everyone from me. Ha.

First thoughts of Singapore

Hey guys,

Sorry for the lack of posting. In the past three days, I've been
1) on the plane for the whole of the first day
2) shopping with my younger sister the second day
3) hanging out with my sisters and cousin (back from Aussie) today

Besides, I've fallen prey to the vicious flu bug, so I've been pretty blah. Been trying to ignore it and go out, but I suspect it's not the way to get better.

Anyways, first thoughts of Singapore... food is still good, but somehow not as good as I remember it to be. Maybe things really taste better in your memory... or maybe the flu affected my sense of taste. Regardless, I'll find out when I get better. Heh.

Stupid ole me had forgotten to bring the cable for my phone, so I'll have to post the pictures only when I get home to San Diego. Been trying to take pictures of the food I'm eating, and it might be too cruel to post it the instance I get back to San Diego, since the food will be a few thousand miles away from me. We'll see.

Everything seems to lose its familiarity to me, it's kinda sad. In a way, I feel like I'm looking down at myself going through all the motions of everyday life, and not relating to it on a personal level.

Despite all these, my family still feels real, and it still feels as good to be around them as I remember. :) At least, some things don't change.

This time round, I want to devote more time to my family, just because everytime I get back, I spend my time hanging out with everybody else, yet when I'm back in San D, the people I miss most are my family.

Alrighty, will write more when I have more exciting updates. Will go for more chicken rice tomorrow. Heh heh. :D

Take me away

I need to get out of here.

So much negativity in the past few days, leaving me lost and confused.

What should I do? What should I say? What am I supposed to think?

I know this sounds very cryptic, but bear with me... I just needed to say this out somehow.

Maybe getting out of San Diego will do me some good.

Back to the warmth of my family.

Back to the comfort of my friends.

Back to where I started.

Have to head to bed, will update when I'm in a more upbeat mood.

I poisoned myself.

Man, it's only 1 pm and I can feel the day becoming crappy already. Recently, I've been losing stuff. Two days ago, I lose my DKNY watch. It wasn't that costly, but I've had it for a while already, and it's more sentimental than anything else. And this morning, I can't find my concealer. Seems like my bags are swallowing my stuff up. WTH. Sigh.

And I'm still feeling nauseous cuz I ate some rotten eggs yesterday. Why am I eating rotten eggs, you might ask. Well, I bought eggs a week ago, and accidentally dropped them on the way home. So 5 of them broke, and I had to chuck those. When I was cooking an omelette yday, I realized two more were cracked, but I was so indignant that I cooked them anyways. Ahem. Anyways, not feeling good. Can't believe I poisoned myself.

Anyways, I was talking to Nick on gchat, and it occurred to me that guys are getting better at picking girls up. I've realized this phenomenon too... recently, guys who ask for my number call IMMEDIATELY after I told them my number, to make sure I didn't give them a fake one. So I had to give my new one. Sigh. No more giving my enemy's number out anymore.

"You don't have to give if you're not interested", I can hear some of you saying, but well it gets really awkward. I think the best way out is to give the number out, and then avoid the calls and text msges. Which I've been doing these days, which is pretty taxing, though the voicemails they leave are pretty entertaining.

Anyway, I was in a charitable mood yesterday, so when I got one of the voicemails, I decided to call and tell him I'm going out of town for a while (which I am!). That way, I can drop him easy, and he wun feel that bad about himself! He had bad reception, and said he'll call me after. He ended up calling me at 2 am. WTF. Sometimes, it doesn't pay to be kind.

There was a phase I went through, when I'll drop them all with various excuses. Recently, I can't be arsed anymore. Maybe I should get back to it, since I can feel my negative karma accumulating as each day passes.

So guys, great job. You've avoided the common trick of giving nonsensical numbers, but hey now, you can't really force us to pick up your call if we really don't want to. So be nice, get the hint, and buzz off if we're not interested. You'll gain more respect that way.

Chocolatte curtains!

Bought new curtains for my room today! Was sick of the morning sun waking me up every morning, so I went to the store to get the thickest curtains I could lay my hands on. Ended up getting a chocolate satin one, double-layered for extra blockage. Now it's sitting pretty in my room!

Other than that, nothing very much. Had brunch at Brockton Villa at downtown La Jolla. I had the Eggs Ipanema - poached eggs on tomato slices on an english muffin, topped with a tomato coconut sauce. It was heavenly!
Oh, and I finally got my tiffany bangle. Couldn't hold the urge to get it anymore. Heh.

Woot! Yup, that's about it for my update. :)

Victoria's Secret Runway show

Recently, my much anticipated annual Victoria's Secret runway show was aired on CBS! For those of you not familiar with this, Victoria's Secret has an annual runway show showcasing the trends for the next year, and well it consists of hot models (and I'm saying haaawt!) parading in teeny weeny costumy lingerie. Seriously, if I have, say a clothing manufacturing company in China, I will probably come up with copies of these costumes and export them to the states to be sold as Halloween costumes. So hawt! Also, it was pretty funny seeing a reprise of the Spice Girls. Funny because Victoria Beckham has the you-girls-are-so-lame look on her face the whole time, which I can't really blame her because 1) Mel C, Geri, and Emma had dropped from the face of the earth these 6 years 2) Mel B is shamelessly fighting for getting her money from Eddie Murphy. And she? She only got married to the cutest, and probably richest football player, has the exclusive 5 million limit credit card from Neiman Marcus, and is living in the lap of luxury. Who would have known that from 6 years back?

Anyways, pictures from the show. I am in love with the hottest model! She is so hot, she's like a walking wet dream! Behold..

Man, her body is to die for. I really don't know how models get their flat abs. HOW DO THEY ACHIEVE THAT? Do they even work out?? Seems like most of the models are Brazilian. Dear God, if I ever have an afterlife, I want to be born a Brazilian. Life is sooooo unfair.
This girl is the new model of the year. Again the flat abs, but I think her face is a little too chubby to be a VS model. This is a good picture of her, but well if you see her on tv, it's pretty fat. Oh well.
The necessary blond model.
This girl is pretty hot too. Very high cheekbones, I like!

Adriana Lima. She's also pretty hot. I think I like the models with the intense gaze, you know, light eyes against dark skin. I want ice-blue eyes too!

Anyways, that's the end of my pictures. If you can download it, I highly recommend it. A very entertaining one hour. Heh.

Two weeks to Motherland!

Heading back to Singapore two weeks exactly from now. I'm soooo excited! A lot of my friends are heading back too, so we can all meet up! Lemme make a list...

1) Moots from San Fran
2) Nick from New York
3) Lier from Edinburgh
4) Leana from Aussie
5) My beloved younger cousin from Aussie! (haven't seen him in 2 and a half years, and my mum says he's now taller than me, twice my size, and have grown a moustache AND pigtail. Jeepers.)
6) Nicole from ILLINOIS
7) Wenqi from San Fran

and some others, who have slipped my mind at the moment. Ahem.

Anywhoo, I'm counting down to the day... the day when my dreams are dreams no more, and I will FINALLY be able to tuck into steaming hot chicken rice! And I can hug my sister and mum instead of virtual hugs. Ah, it's been 5ish months, but it felt like an eternity. My older sister has deemed me as her personal shopper. Last year, she made me buy back around 12 coach bags for her, and this year, it's victoria's secret lingerie. -__- Just received an email from her asking for a CD she can't find in Singapore. And you would imagine that shopping in Singapore should be better! Grr.

I've came to the conclusion that Asian and African American guys have one thing in common - it's close to impossible to find one good looking dude, but if you stumble upon one, he's helluva cute. Like Tyson Beckford. Or one of those Taiwanese pop stars. Honestly, I would rather not have this vast inconsistency in the standard, and just have all slightly above average looking guys. I don't know if this is true anywhere else, but it's certainly true in California.

Just watched Enchanted, the movie. Renee and I both got reduced to putty at the end. I think we got enough sappy-ness to last a lifetime or two. It's one of those movies that we walk out and lament for the next 15 min about our dire situation regarding the lurrvee issue. It's a pretty good movie though, I have to say.

Anyways, gonna watch heroes on tv, tinker on the piano for a little bit, and then to bed. Later.
